Where are you based?
I live in Rockdale, located in Sydney, New South Wales. However, I am available for weddings across Australia and internationally.
What gear do you use?
I use fully professional equipment, Sony A7iii cameras and Sony lenses. Check out my Professional Photography Equipment.
What is your personality like?
I am easy going and energetic; I'll try to fit in and hang out. I love meeting new people, and I am not afraid to start a conversation. I am spontaneous and creative, so when things aren't going to plan, I can find a solution.
My style of photography is about connecting with you personally. I will get to know you and find a way to bring out your natural smile. You will feel totally comfortable, and you will enjoy the sincere moments. I take advantage of natural landscapes and always shoot from multiple locations. I am mainly discrete but assertive when required for formal photos.
I am not photogenic, and I am nervous about having my picture taken?
In our pre-wedding consultation, we can discuss your worries and plan the necessary controls to prevent unwanted photos. I will always be looking out for them and use discrete hand signals to readjust your posture etc. As a piece of mind, I will regularly show you the photos I take on the back of my cameras.
Will you travel to our wedding?
YES! I would absolutely love to, where ever you want.
What time of year is best to get married?
Autumn! It is not too hot or cold. There is a balance of RGB (red, green, blue) in the landscape, making for the best photos. Also, the light is not as harsh as in the middle of summer, making for more flattering portrait photos. Spring is almost equally as good.
Winter is also a great time, yes it is cold, and the trees are brown and gloomy. But the light is soft and makes very flattering portraits. Sunset is also around 5:30 pm, so the "Golden Hour" for portraits will fit in the best before a reception. Plus the venue is cheaper!!!

Are you an insured business, and do you guarantee your work?
Yes, I have equipment, liability and indemnity insurance. I guarantee that all your files will be stored in a fire-rated safe and saved on multiple hard drives for at least 7 years, potentially forever.
How do you normally charge for your service?
I charge a 25% Deposit + 75% due 14 days before the Main Shoot Date. Payable via Osko, Bank Transfer, PayPal, Stripe or cash. Please note 2.5% surcharging on card payments.
Can I choose a particular Lightroom preset for all our photos?
Absolutely, if you want me to match a certain preset or film style, I'll be happy to produce those images.
How many photos will I get after the wedding?
I aim to deliver at least 60 high-resolution edited photos per hour of coverage; however, it may be more depending on your event's happenings. Some photographers say unlimited photos, is it, though?..
How long will I have to wait to get my photos?
I usually take around four weeks to send your photos, but it can take up to six weeks in busy periods.
Can I print my photos?
Go for it; they are all yours. You can print as many as you like without consulting me first. I strongly recommend using a high-quality print shop like Queensberry. Budget photo printing at K-Mart and Big W will deteriorate, the colour balance is usually incorrect, and the overall image quality is poor. At the end of the day, you pay for what you get.
If you haven't shot a wedding at our venue, how will you know where the good spots are?
I am always looking out for ideal locations to create a nice composition. If I haven't been there before, I'll scout the location beforehand if I am reasonably able to do so. Many factors can affect a "good spot", like weather, available light, or a bus full of tourists. We must always be prepared to improvise if need be.
Do you use an assistant?
Generally no, however, during wedding portraits and engagement sessions on a bright sunny day. I may use an assistant to hold a softbox or sunlight reflector.
Can you make us an album?
I sure can send you a price list, and there are loads of luxury options.
How much coverage do we need?
Usually 9 hours, I can put together the story of you both getting ready, right up to Uncle Bob doing the worm on the dance floor. After that, things get rather messy.
