I had the great pleasure of being invited to capture Claude and Karl’s intimate wedding at Collaroy Beach NSW. Then I joined them for a massive feast at The Grounds of Alexandria and some fun night portraits. Claude and Karl were adorable, and I love their photos!
Beautiful Collaroy Beach NSW
Claude and Karl’s nuptials were held a Stanley and Florence Twight Reserve next to Collaroy Beach. Tamsin McGarry did a fantastic job marrying the couple among their closest friends; the panoramic views of the ocean were so breathtaking.
Heartfelt vows with the confetti of the gods
As Claude and Karl spoke their solemn vows, the sky opened up with prosperity and showered the party, which didn’t stop the action but made the photos so much better; I even took advantage of the situation and got some fun black-lit portraits of Claude and Karl Dancing in the rain.
Collaroy Beach Wedding Portraits on the rocks
I guided the wedding party across the sand to the rocks to capture some unfilled portraits as the sun went down; they are a great bunch of friends. I just love the colours in the sky and how calm the ocean was for us that day.
The Grounds Of Alexandria Wedding Night Portraits
Claude and Karl picked The Grounds as their place of celebration. I am so glad they did because the location is a photographer’s paradise. That evening, we had a great time capturing love-felt moments between the Alice In Wonderland theme.
A Huge Feast for Great Friends
As we finished taking portraits, we all shared a delicious meal prepared by the fantastic chefs at The Grounds Of Alexandria and shared memories and wished eternal happiness for Claude and Karl’s beautiful relationship. Claude and Karl cut their wonderful Sweet and Special wedding cake to finish the night.
